LIT Award

NSLA Award for Library and Information Technology Student

The NSLA Award for Library and Information Technology Student recognizes the achievement of a graduating student. The award is given for the greatest contribution to the overall program.

Frequency: The award is given annually in June at the Nova Scotia Community College awards ceremony.

Procedure: The instructor of the Library and Information Technology Program submits the name of the graduating student to the Past President. The student receives a certificate of accomplishment, signed by the President of NSLA, a one-year free membership to NSLA, free registration to the NSLA Conference that calendar year, and a financial donation to be decided annually

Presentation: A member of the NSLA Board of Directors will present the award at the Nova Scotia Community College awards ceremony. This ceremony takes place each year in June. The instructor from the Library and Information Technology Program will contact the Past President with the exact date of the ceremony each year.
