The Nova Scotia Library Association School of Information Management Graduate Award recognizes the achievement of a graduating student. The award is given to the student with high academic achievement and a demonstrated commitment to libraries and information services.
Frequency: The award is given annually in May at the School of Information Management award reception.
Procedure: The School of Information Management provides the Past President with the recipient’s name. The recipient receives a certificate of accomplishment, signed by the President of NSLA, a one-year free membership to NSLA, free registration to the NSLA Conference that calendar year, and a financial donation to be decided annually.
Presentation: A member of the NSLA Board of Directors will present the award at awards reception. A representative from the University will inform the Past President of the exact date each year.
